Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Maida -2 cup


  • Baking powder - 1 tsp.


  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp.


  • Curd - 3/4 cup.


  • Oil - 3/4 cup.


  • Powdered sugar - 1 cup.


  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp.


  • Sugar - 2 table spoon.


  • Honey - 1/4 cup.


  • Strawberry jam - 1/2 cup.


  • Honey - 1 table spoon.


  • Dessicated coconut - 2 table spoon.


  • Red Tuti fruti - 1 table spoon.


  • Whipped cream - 2 table spoon or according to decoration.

Directions

  • Take a bowl, add curd, oil, powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Whisk for 5 minutes and combine well.
  • Sift maida, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Mix well by cut and fold method.
  • Don't over mix.
  • Add milk if required and make a lump free smooth batter.
  • Transfer it into a greased cake tray. Pat twice.
  • Preheat and bake at 180℃ for 40 minutes.
  • Cool completely.
  • Prick and make holes, keep aside.
  • On the other hand, take a pan, add sugar and 1/4 cup water.
  • Boil 2 mins,. Turns sticky.
  • Cool completely. Add honey into it and mix well.
  • Honey syrup ready, pour it generously on the cake. Cake absorb it.
  • Now take a pan, add strawberry jam and 1 table spoon honey, mix well.
  • Cook it until the jam melts well, don't over heat.
  • Spread the honey jam mixture on the cake and make a thick layer.
  • Sprinkle dessicated coconut on it.
  • Decorate with red tuti fruti and whipped cream.
  • Cut the cake into pieces and serve it.
